Le Diner en Blanc – THE 2020 AUGUST EVENT!

What a difference a year makes! 2019 saw in the month of August 20 events. In 2020, Le Dîner en Blanc will be celebrated in Vilnius, only!   

Most of the August events take place in Canada and the United States.  This year due to the pandemic and the health safety measures in place to try and contain it, large-scale gatherings were not a possibility.

So yeah, Vilnius!!!! 

Le Dîner en Blanc - Vilnius* will take place on Friday, August 28! 

*All applicable COVID-19 local public safety measures will be enforced.

With COVID-19 being under control in the country for quite a while, people have somewhat resumed their normal life. But as travelling abroad is still a greater risk, hosts Dovile Butkiene and Valda Lukosiute saw that Le Diner would be the perfect solution to bring a taste of the foreign without leaving the city.


In their own words (loosely translated from Lithuanian): “Le Diner en Blanc this year will become a wonderful alternative to elegant travel as it allows you to get away from your everyday life. This is an event that, even without travelling, brings you to another world with its sea of people all dressed in white creating unique images.”
